RELAX
COARSE HAIR
Try: A vented boar bristle
brush:
"Boar bristles gently tug at hair to
pull flyaways down, creating a straighter
cuticle. They also help distribute scalp oil,
adding shine" |
ADD
BOUNCE TO STRAIGHT HAIR
Try: A round vent brush
with thermal coating
"Point the nozzle of your dryer toward
the metal barrel of a thermal brush and the
heat will lock on the wave," says Maza
|
DETANGLED
CURLY HAIR
Try: A cushion paddle
brush with ballpoint tips
"The cushioning 'gives' when you hit
a tangle so as not to damage hair. The ball
points tips grip hair to pull out any kinks" |
THICKEN
FINE HAIR
Try: A round vent brush
without thermal coating
"There is no metal in the core of this
brush to quicken the drying process, decreasing
the odds of burning out delicate strands.
It is ventilated so the air circulates to
dry hair quickly, while adding life and body
to limp locks |
