Step-by-Step Tutorial

Olivia Garden Hair Tools: Supreme Combo Brush
Style-Up Teasing Brush, CarboSilk Technical Comb (CS-T1) & Double Clips

Step 1: Section hair using Double Clips.

Starting from the bottom of the head, begin curling hair with a 2” barrel curling iron
to create big waves.

Using the tail end of an CarboSilk Comb, create a deep part on the far left side of the crown of the head. Hold the rest of your hair away from your face and secure with a Double Clip.

Step 2: Begin by braiding the 1st section of hair, keeping the braid as close to the scalp as possible. When you’ve reached the end of the hair from that section, secure with clear elastic band.

With the tail of your CarboSilk comb, create another deep part directly above the initial braid.
Begin braiding the 2nd section and secure with clear elastic band.

For the 3rd section, create another deep & bigger part at the top of head. Braid once again & secure with clear elastic band.

Step 3: Repeat the same steps on opposite side of the head.

When all braids are completed, use the Style-Up Teasing Brush to back comb hair at the back of the head that isn’t braided to create volume & texture. Continue to back comb in sections, working your way down to the nape of the neck.

Step 4: Switch to the Supreme Combo Brush and backcomb the hair you just teased to give it a messy & voluminous look. After you complete teasing the hair, smooth it out gently using the same hair brush, but not all the way. Hairspray generously for a complete look.
